ladies traveling to meet a guy for the first date (104)
ChinaS: I wouldn't travel over an hour, if he is further away then that, he can do the traveling. Besides, how safe is it for a woman to be the one to go a long distance to someplace she does not know, and no one knows her? That is kind of crazy in my mind, but I work with the families of missing persons every day all day long...makes one more keen to the realness of going missing easily. Scary
Yeah,i know someone who works police dispatch and that kinda stuff tends to stay in ones head.

the furthest i travelled was 2oo miles i lived in stoke and he lived in london and the date was very good

I travelled 5,000 miles. It was a long way, but an interesting and thought provoking experience.
And I am thinking about doing it again.
Some may think Im an idiot for doing that; well, I dont think so. Im not going to sit in my own back yard being unhappy, when a flight to a foreign land could possibly bring me what Ive been looking for.

Within 48 hrs of meeting i couldn't stand him
Thought he could tell me what i should do.
Took a dislike to my friends he met.
Only thing he had the ability to talk about was himself.
Really made me realize how much people can show us only what they want us to see on the internet, and how blind we can be when were a bit lonely and vulnerable.

very much so and i would too if i found someone i really want to meet.......don't see anything wrong with traveling overseas to meet someone i really on my own expense.

I flew from Atlanta, Ga to Milano for a date.
It lasted a few months longer than planned & I still get a kick out of the experience.
