NeWildflower: But see sweetie.. while I agree that the younger demographic are the ones who have rejected the current module, I also see them to be like rebellious teenagers who fly by the seat of their pants only to be eventually reeled back in by reality. Idealism can be a good thing, and in some cases a great catalyst for change, but often times the idealistic youth get a rude awakening when they get out there and realize that the old timers weren't so wrong after all.

So.. what's your job? Professional doobie smoker? ;) I won't argue with you about it.. I've just seen too many people smoke themselves into a stupor and keep themselves there. It does seem to be reversable to a limited extent lol, their memories improve and they can form coherent thoughts when they take a break from it. But they really are never the same again. Stupid I tell ya!

Charlie Rose Interview with Neil Young, who has been pursuing alternative fuel cars for years. It's embedded in this 56 minute interview and I have not tracked it further. Great interview if you find the time, and for many reasons.

I personally think politicians blow on the wind and that the Republicans will change to suit the voters. Its happened in my country and various others, as Power is the Goal. They may try to keep some principles, but ultimately the electorate will sway their opinion and not the other way around.

Generally I would agree with that. Parties adapt to the populace. However, my memories of Ronald Reagan are that he brought the country around to his way of thinking. Those types of leaders only come once or twice in a century.
