wixomwizard: I can't help but notice you are neither a Republican or a Democrat, nor for that matter a American. A Swede's opinion means next to zilch to me. I also notice that Sweden is'nt doing anything of note to make this world a better place to live in. Is'nt it great that you don't have to lift a finger to defend the right's you enjoy, while at the same time you get to criticize the countries and people who do?
True, I'm an independent and do favor the Green Party.
I am American though...I have double citizenship. Born and raised Northern California. Been living in Sweden for almost 10 years year. Let it be known...I'M AMERICAN AND DAMN PROUD TO BE ONE. I'm also proud to be a world citizen.
Sweden does what American says...so that's gotta be good for something
I don't think you are familiar with what Sweden does to make the world a better place to live in. Sweden is about 80-90 percent Atheist/Agnostic, not religious at all (10 percent) and the political movement here will help catalyze change in Europe.
You can go ahead and stick a shoe in your mouth old timer...

Still want to have the Cake and Eat it too! And now you demand Coffee to go with it!
Conrad73: Samething was said in the eighties about the Democrats, and they received a larger trouncing than the Republicans did! Best thing would be a Third Party,so a fresh beginning could be made What's inhabiting DC at the moment is extremely Substandard!
The 80's are over Conrad. We use cell phones now and do most of our communicating via the internet or text messages...
I agree with your third party assessment and what's going on in DC, but change is on the way and won't be stopped.
Ambrose2007: I hope you'll include the Democratic party as a thing of the past as well, T? There is no practical difference between the two any longer. And there certainly is no "fresh breeze of change" blowing through Washington these days. That breeze is about as stale as the moldy air in my windowless storage shack. Look at who's in his administration. All the same power-brokers/familiar power-hungry faces. And Obama's policies could be accurately described as the Bush Administration March to Facism, The Sequel. He's continuing pretty much all of Bush's policies, and even expanding on them. All that's changed is the tan and the nice smile and the lack of verbal gaffes.

You may be right.. change may very well be on the way, and change happens whether we're sleeping or wide awake, but I don't believe for one second that Barrack Obama is going to be the catalyst for that change.. unless you count everyone who voted for him eventually changing their mind!
zee1ander: Geez where have you been? I was using the internet in the 80's as well as a cell phone.
Then again what do you know .... your a Swede.
zee
Now that was weak Zee...
Home computers were pretty much only being used in Silicon Valley during the 80's. I grew up there dolt..right next to three different IBM plants in south San Jose...Did you mean I am a sweet instead of Swede? lol
