Well, reading all opinions, experiences and ideas that were here exposed I have find out that should be more proper if we instead of our pictures and profiles apply here our dental files. I wonder what do you think?

I think you are just the best and are too funny...
wordsmith99: Hang on a minute! She lied, but you spied... is a woman's ickle wickle fibette about her age so much worse than a man's "secret methods" of checking out the truth????
No, I didn't spy, she unintentionally revealed it by herself She said that she just bought a couple of shoes for 367.50, but I work at a bank and my duties involve checking the credit card records, and there was only one person buying something on that day for this amount, so it was inevitable that I discovered her real life profile. It's amazing how impossible it is to hide your identity these days, so better don't lie.
Sommerauer71: Lying in a relationship is wrong, yet if we look at lies and really go deeper with this, we lie to our children that Santa Claus exists and the tooth fairy. We make up fairy stories, we write jokes that have never happened.
Those boundaries are acceptable for me, lies and dishonestly with malicious intent are not acceptable. In any form.
That is my view on the topic in hand.
I agree with you here.
I often make up stories , but I don't lie maliciously.

Whoa, what a strange coincidence. Sounds like it was meant to be discovered, maybe a lesson for her - or you. Like that time when I had a lot of issues with my ex and wrote a couple of innocent letters to another man and the computer broke down and he found them and then got them translated mechanically so it all sounded REALLY bad... I swear I will never do anything like that every again, karma catches up with me in minutes!

sambhava: What on earth has age (in numbers) got to do with anything...?
I guess age matters less regarding the age of men, but regarding women especially in this case it could mean the difference between the possibility of having children or not, and consciously or subconsciously, but men are always instinctively more attracted to women of childbearing age. Although I wouldn’t say that I was even remotely considering possibility of having a child, I have to admit that it could influence my subconscious reaction and explain why I even paid attention to this whole story at all.
sambhava: "Old age" is part of the universal human programming.
I agree with that, but I also think that it is possible to change that programming, at least to a great degree. I’ve seen some yogis who were twice my age, but physically and mentally young and agile.
sambhava: I also strongly recommend to anyone seeking "eternal youth" not to touch anything out there unfit for human consumption (ie. without exaggeration about 99.9% of everything on sale out there in so-called "food" shops!).
I really admire your skill of surviving with that 0.1% of food choice, but I think if you would be right, we would all be dead by now. :) To my mind “eternal youth” depends much more on our spirit than flesh, our thoughts matter much more than food :)
guiriman: look guys .. it aint the same, is it? telling a joke and deceiving someone ..
Sure, it's not the same, but I'm not too angry about that in this case :) Here in CS it turned out to be like a bad joke, but if I would've found out something like that on a wedding day, that could be really frustrating

You checked out her financial records, her credit rating, her purchasing record, her real life profile????? And that's not spying??????
My Facebook profile knocked 3 years off my age and I haven't been able to change it. It's not an intentional lie - just technical ineptitude (obviously I'm too old to be playing around with Facebook, for a start! )
Seriously, I think it sort of depends on why she put a false age up in the first place. The truth is that the vast majority of men say they are looking for women younger than themselves and discount anyone of even the same age, let alone a bit older. I can understand why a woman might knock a few years off on her profile in the hope of meeting a man of roughly her own age - thinking that when he got to know what she was like he'd be able to live with her age. I'm not saying I would do that, or that I condone it, but I can sort of understand it if this was why she did it.
