I was seeing a guy from cs and his profile said he was 38 .He emailed me and said he was 43 .... ok . sat at the table having supper with friends one night and said he was 40 !This was after he said he was a non smoker and he smoked 15 a day ! Got shot of him !
What on earth has age (in numbers) got to do with anything...? It's surely only a case of how you LOOK physically. Everyone I meet thinks I'm about 38-40 when they look at my body, so what does it matter if I'm much older in numbers...? "Old age" is part of the universal human programming. I also strongly recommend to anyone seeking "eternal youth" not to touch anything out there unfit for human consumption (ie. without exaggeration about 99.9% of everything on sale out there in so-called "food" shops!).
Its bad to be revealed as a lyer-its sure not bad to have any age, whatever that is. And most of all whats the point lying about your age?I am proud of every year of my life, I fought for it, I passed a lot of difficulties to get there-why should I deny my years now?

Sommerauer71: I did not realise their was an argument, but then I am still at work.
It is normal to catergorise, but it is not normal to label people I don't know.
That is a moral standard that I hold onto. Amongst others.
Don't know, it was getting confusing. But I suppose I agree with that. I don't really like assumptions and I suppose that's close to what you're saying. However a lie is a lie no matter who and what, surely. But never mind, I'm not really in tune with all this right now.
I wonder if it's cos of all the advertising that bombards us an amazing number of times everyday that we become tolerant of people telling us lies ... just my thought for the day folks ..

Well, from a marketing standpoint, I never look younger when I buy a wrinkle cream.

Sommerauer71: A lie is a lie is a lie.
Messy is as messy does.
I, for one have never lied about my age.
I love how you end, with never mind.
It made me laugh.
Just because I don't want to feel that I'm arguing with you dear Sommer and in the end it feels like splitting hair, and I'm really really tired today... (tired from worrying/stressing about men so I have vowed to stop and take care of myself for a while and also tired from having had to fix half of my bike yesterday... arrgh) so I think I've stated my points and am willing to leave it at that

Sommerauer71: 1. Y'are, unless of course it's me and I will just say, 'pointless love, lying bout your age, what ya gonna do with me now?'
2. Exactly. How embarrassing, I would have to laugh. So you mean thst I look 35?
What about who lie about being older?
Is that acceptable? Cuspy did.
Young men will have to start lying about being older if they still want to get into my pants as I've changed my age range, But I think soon enough after some rest my radar will be up again, all clean and receptive to any deceit

Sommerauer71: I don't feel you are arguing with me.
At all, it was a great discussion.
Get some rest if you are tired.
Yeah when I'm tired I may feel that people who debate wildly are arguing, so I just wanted to make sure it didn't come to that because I have no intention of attacking you for your viewpoints...

I take things more to heart when I am tired. I like a discussion, yet often misconstrued as arguing. I can never get my head around that one. Why I remain out if political threads and religion threads, because they are exlosive topics.
I'll be leaving my office soon and going home for a good's night sleep.
