I don't believe in "atheists," can anybody prove "atheists" exist? ( Archived) (933)

jeffc320: I already have an 11 yr old daughter. She is a beautiful, kind (non religious) soul and intelligent enough for me to let her make her own mind up about such things as religion. I make sure she has the good sense to question everything she is taught including from me so that she has her own individual opinions. That way she will have incredible self confidence to go into the world and succeed at whatever she desires. I do not fear death because of the reasons in my previous post - Energy only changes and does not stop. It is religious people who worry and run away from their responsibilities as human beings. They go into their church having 'sinned' many times and ask for forgiveness. I do not need forgiveness because i am responsible for ALL my actions and take them very seriously as a human being. People always fear what they do not understand. To me, Life is simple. Make the best of what you have got. Instil confidence in your children like other species do. Try your best. Never take anything personally. And the most important thing of all, Love.

Using the same standards of proof commonly accepted to deny the existence of God, can somebody prove "atheists" exist?

It wouuld be nice if the person attempting to do so, would refrain from using the words, faith, and/or belief; or forms of it.

Supposedly science, and reason are on the side of the mythological "atheists."

And, Christians only have faith, and belief.

So, please don't ask me to accept your belief, and faith as proof "atheists" exist; use science, facts, and reason.

jeffc320: Pray yes, why not. But not to some God who i can't prove exists. I'll pray to the spirit of the universe that my fellow human beings wake up and stop hurting and killing each other for oil, money, greed, power etc. Praying is good when action follows. Praying alone will not solve our problems. It just makes the powerful people more powerful by giving away your right to be free. Stand up and make a difference instead of praying(hoping silently) something good will happen.
