Keep up the good work! If cigarettes weren't expensive before, they sure are now...well, in my neck of the woods they are. We have a new tax on them. And of course the damage they cause to your body.

Good Job!! You just added about 10 years to your life!! cheering grin

considering the economy and those people that are in charge of fixing it, the failing moral standards in society and the gross atrosities(sp?) that continue to occur in the onset of the tomorrows...do I really want 10 more years added to my life???

But thank you for the encouragement...I will keep up the good work.

I keep trying.
But I keep failing....

I am so mean if I don't have smokes.

Like, my family avoid me!

It's horrible to be dependent on something!

for anyone wondering...I wore the patch for 5 days and then stopped wearing the patch. There was a few moments that were touch and go but for the most part I didn't strangle anyone to death and nothing was too intolerable(is it 2 L's?) Lots of prayer helps also.

Well done. 3 months now for me. Look out for the third week. Sometimes your mind will trick you into thinking you are home free and then something will happen and you might succumb to habit.

Giving up is not about staying off nicotine, it is about being vigilant of your thinking and beliefs around being a non-smoker.
