Not a spider plant I googled spider plant and they are not even close. This is a bush that's about 5 feet across. Has a bunch of long green stems about 1/2 inch (1cm) in diameter.

Not sure. Does this plant ever get any flowers? What color do the leaves turn to in the fall? Does it grow like a bush or are the stems separate?

It's a huge bush 5 feet across and about 4-5 feet high. It stays green even covered with snow. The leaves are leathery like a Magnolia. Long green stems come from the root ball.

It's a speckled palm. They use them here on palm sunday. Don't know what the latin name is or anything though.wine

I think it is really a member of the laurel family despite the name and association with palms.wine
