hopefloats: Okay Thump since you brought up washing them......please indulge me, I'm "new" at this cap-washing thing..... What's the best way to wash them?
I just throw them in with everything else. They do make plastic frames to put them in while washing to keep their shape, but Ive never had one.

The two biggest factors: keeping their shape and not fading.
I was trying to determine which would be better... using the cap frame in the washing machine or the dishwasher? I believe I'll trying the washing machine first.

hopefloats: I find this interesting....that you only wear them in the summer. I do embroidery logos on caps and most all the guys have mentioned wearing them more through the winter to keep the body heat in.

I always figured they were like blue jeans, the more run down and comfy they were, the better.
It's not just guys who love hats/caps. I think I own 4 pairs of shoes, but have an uncounted number of hats/caps. When I leave the house, I usually have one on with my pony tail hanging out the back. Although I do wear my cowboy hat with my hair down.

ok I would plee the fifth on this one but SOMEONE has already mentioned that I have many caps.
I have several from the trucking companys that I have drove for in the back window of my car, and the various brands of trucks that I have drove. most of my hats relate to the industry. thought I have several that are espacaly ear to me as my wife went to the trouble to make them as I wanted.
mostly I just like to have my hats. see I wear one from the time I get up till the time I go to bed, to the dismay of merky. though If I get another cowboy hat that may apease her a bit.

Glad you came out of the woodwork, so to speak to post some.
mastic55: When I get a hat that fits I can put it on my hed and say"I've got a hat on"
You know, I've learned something over the years with this job I have about men having a hard time finding caps for their head...the best solution we've discovered thus far is a "Flexfit" cap with an elastic band. If an adjustable one is too small, maybe you should try one of these......just a suggestion for you.

Merky
Neckties. Retro ones selling like hotcakes here in Oregon. Even guys who never wear ties buy them.
