Personally, I prefer intelligent men, and would not really be happy with someone who has a low IQ, or couldn´t converse with me on an equal basis. However, a high IQ does not always equate with being a good person, or partner, at the end of the day.

langleygirl: I think it would come down to a number of factors with the biggest issue being compatibility. If someone bores you to tears because you can't understand them or aren't interested in what they want to discuss I think the relationship would fizzle very quickly.
Some people can be extremely well educated but still be "dumb" .... so it all comes down to the person and not their own individual intelligence level as there are many more factors involved.
