RillyNiceGuy: Women will dodge a man's calls and him, when she is not interested any longer and then calls him a jerk that can't take a hint.
If a man stops calling and does not return calls then the guy is a jerk for not handling it in a mature way and be a man, telling her face to face.

It all depends on the interaction that's preceded this rilly. I would never ignore a man's phone calls unless I'd already made my feelings clear & he'd then made a thorough nuicanse of himself. If I were a guy in this scenario I'd do the same thing.
If people have dated and spent time together, I think it's tacky to let silence indicate their time together is over, and that goes for males or females. But you're right, sometimes it's easier to just let things fade away.

I dont expect him too
If he gives me a time and doesnt I will call the next day-if he says he will call me back and does not initialize a conversation during that phone call i made i do not expect it
now if we have been seeing each other for awhile and he does not do the right thing and break up the right way i will call him a jerk--hello post-it note (S&C reference)
seriously if a woman cant identify that a guy isnt into her she shouldnt let it bother her to go around calling him names
