Few people would prolong such a date, and escape asap methinks.
It´s not even about making an effort for a first date is it? If someone turns up stinking to high heaven, they most likely have a permanent aversion to soap and water!

Same line of thought: If someone doesn't even make an effort to turn up *clean* on a first date...what would eventually come later when they get *comfortable* with you??!!

Well Smoky, we all have our preferences, I was quite oblivious to other minor things like fingernails ear/nose habits. But smells hit me fast!!
I will pay more attention the next time. I will enquire about her hairdresser and her manicure expert and what shampoo she uses against dandruff. Maybe I will ask her about the conditioner she uses on her clothes.
