Believe me very few people ever meet on free dating sites (less then 1%) or in fact ever reply to mail....sorry to say females are the worst for that Many people just like to chat but that's about all.

Ain't that the truth. I've had more honesty from people I've met on here than with some I've met in "real life".
And I've had games from some on here and other sites.
So, people are people, and all you can do is keep trying. Or do like some of us, and remain in the forums to make friends and keep in touch with old ones, and get to talk about things you don't often get to in "real life". Relax, laugh, joke...and act like life is fun, even for adults!

Some grown up never grow up! Just be patient and relax and you'll meet someone who are real. Some guys just collect numbers, if they don't call that means they don't have the balls to call you, so don't take it seriously.

I have to disagree with you there druids.
Of course honesty can be found from the friends we make here, but that´s not what the OP is talking about. I believe she is referring to romantic interest, and many people here can undoubtedly concur that there are a lot of dishonest people lurking behind their computer screen, and playing games.
In real life this doesn´t happen with such ease, and the bad apples are quicker to spot.
