Boban1: scratch the surface ...look deep to see what people here are really like ....some of us are just scared of love , and are hiding behind a mask and some o us are afraid of a Woman in uniform ...
B - I think you are spot on there...
Say, what IS that thing on your head that you are hiding behind????????????
navygirl1: After being on CS for a while I see so many people hurt because of love and are very bitter. So, I have done some soul searching and decided that love just isn't worth the hassles and seems a waste of my time. Not saying that anyone else should feel this way, just how I feel. Thanks CS members for opening my eyes and saving me a lot of wasted time.
Everyone who thinks that Love is all about Roses with a dropplets of morning sparkling dew on a petals are fools.
There is no need to search for Love ... it shall find you on its own.
So go in Peace, Navygirl and enjoy everything life has to offer.
btw if to calculate percentage of broken hearts from all over the World ( on the Forums) it is nothing to compare to those who are happy in relationships.
The way I look at it is that we can go through life on a fairly stable plane with few highs and lows or we can ride the roller coaster and throw our arms up, scream, climb ever higher, and enjoy the ride to its fullest, taking the dips and dives along the way as well. It's less painful to stay on the level, steady plane. Without great joy, the risk of pain is far less. But it's a bit of a flatline, isn't it? I'm no different than anyone else here...I've loved and lost and I've hurt and cried, more times than I wish. But I wouldn't trade the love for a flatline, not for a moment would I do so. I don't think you really want that, either. I'm not bitter about my past loves....I'm better for having known them, even if they didn't last. I don't fall easily or often, and the few men I have loved in my life have been good men. Though they didn't last a lifetime, they brought me far more joy than tears. One gave me two sons. I don't regret a moment I spent with them. Don't be afraid to love. Rather, be afraid of the flatline.

I don't think anything in life is pointless, it's part of a path to learn and to challenge us in life. We need those things to become a better us. So to look at anything as pointless is not going to allow for growth and a more postive life. IMO
Navy girl no one can make you happy you have to find the happiness inside you its there hiding. Make yourself happy and then you can share your love and happiness with others love is the sharing of happiness its not being able to make the other happy. If you are scared share that its only human when your wrong admit it and say your sorry and forgive others those are the things that is real love and of course the hugs and kisses and love notes to say i love you of course but the good comes with the bad.I know you see that every day in your job well as you know love is a job too a job to be the best you can be to the others that you love.. I hope this helps..
