If you'r talking about sending a flower or message to someone on cs or a similar service then it would depenf on the amount of contact you have shared...
If you spent a lot of time on the forums interacting and got no response then yes, I imagine you would feel some rejection.
If you contacted someone after just viewing their profile and they didn't respond it's no big deal...bit like saying hi to someone on the street and getting no response...no big deal!
