hey cris.. i have never been addicted to anything other than choc. and cs.. however.. my aunt and uncle both have been through court ordered aa meetings and have been sober for 3 years.. i congratulate you on 4 years sobriety.. i seen how hard of a time they had.. and i wish you many many more years of sobriety to come

never myself, except for ciggarettes...but ive had plent of close friends who have and Ive seen the ugly results...i know on at least some level how hard it is to come out of that and what it means to someone to overcome that

I have never had to be admitted for rehab...however I do smoke and i wish with all my heart i could quit...have attempted it sooooo many times...so i can just imagine how difficult a process it was for you...and my hat's off to you for your accomplishment...WELL DONE!!

My only addiction is nicotine. However I was married to an alcoholic for 10 years. I know the struggles involved and saw the pain it caused him. In the end he lost his job, his home, me and his self esteem. Someday I pray he will find happiness and peace.
