Actually, I don't think you look your age, love. I thought you were in your 50s, to be honest. Perhaps you are blessed with good genes?
Its hard to get away with pretending to look younger as age is featured on one's profile. Mine says 48. It only occurred to me recently that I am 50 next year....

I tell them right off the bat I look my age. I took a real close up of my face trying to show the lines by my eyes
must be the stupid flash cannot get it to show. So now I just tell people. I don't want anyone to say well you didn't look like that. 
My daughter says it is all in my head. But it isn't, it is just on on my face

Some are so afraid of aging, but for me, it is another notch on my belt so to speak.

Well..I don't understand either. I've met men that obviously posted the pic that was about 10 years old. And they looked ok but I didn't like that they didn't just post themselves honestly in their profile...I mean what else would they do dishonestly??
I'm often told I look younger than my age. And I personally agree. I'm 32 what do you guys think?
It has its ups and its downs. On the upside I live in a predominantly college aged town and those young college hotties do hit on me thinking im their fellow classmate and they just hadn't seen me on campus.
downside: I look like a college girl so the men my age either don't appraoch me....or if they do and find out I'm infact older than the 21 - 23 they were thinking...they quickly vanish.

I think perhaps some men and women in their sixties or older on dating sites, and being in the minority, feel they have to project a younger image in order to be noticed.
I had a date recently and he kept asking me how old I thought he looked. None of this insecurity was evident when we had spoken over the telephone. In fact I thought he looked older than his profile age, and I´m convinced he was.
Being the polite person I am, I simply said I was a poor judge of age.
