Shepherd02: IT has been my experience that women do not like a guy who is sweet and kind. A guy that treats them right. Most women I have dated have been drawn to the guys who treat them like trash and beat them all the time.
I one time had a woman break up with me because she said I was too nice and sweet. I am a guy who can not be the a.. hole type. I believe in respect. I believe that a woman is meant to be cherished and always loved. Never to be left feeling lonely, and not cared about. What are your thoughts? Why is the nice guys finish last???????

The nice guys don´t "finish last" as you say. Most of them are taken, and I don´t think the majority of women really mean it if they say a man is too nice and sweet. Perhaps that was her get out clause?

Laura, I want to hand it to you, You have put this "nice guy" situation in it's proper light. I have never heard a better, more insightful perspective on the condition. For many years in my youth, I felt I was rejected for being "too nice". Yes, there are girls who are captivated by the "bad Boys". Those fellows have charisma and can appear like an exciting challenge for a girl and they often believe they can change the bad trait. Unfortunately that "bad Boy" may also turn out to be a really Bad Boy who treats her horrible and perhaps is physically and mentally abusive. It may be years before she can escape from his clutches and the scars can last a lifetime.
Remember guys, the young girls are experimenting with their choices just as you are and we all screw up from time to time.
If you are a "nice guy" you will find the girl who wants a "nice guy" and you will be her perfect choice.
