I watched a program about this incident a couple of nights ago. To this day, no one knows why they did this.

There is also a very disturbing twist in this tale which for legal reasons couldn't be told in the original program shown a couple of years ago.

Any 'normal' person would be at least seriously injured after such an impact. To appear totally unhurt, then fight with the police and need six people to restrain her is unbelievable.

Yes, THEY are ok. The woman hit by the truck is now living in the usa. The other one was charged with assaulting a police officer and trespass on the motorway. She was sentenced to one day in prison which she had served and subsequently released. She went on to stab to death a total stranger the next day. Following that during her pursuit, she jumped off a motorway bridge into the traffic, she suffered two broken ankles. She was sentenced to three years and is due for release early next year...much to the dismay of the dead mans family.

The police first turned up because the lass in the red cardi had got knocked down initially and the ambulance was on its way, but she appeared okay, then she was off again and she hit the roof of another car again, got knocked out, awoke and then off again for some more, with 6 officers struggling to restrain her.

Mad in the least. Then as it turns out locked up for a night and out the next day to kill a man. Now she's due out of jail after, what 3 years ? The day she is due to be released, I bet money something is gonna happen and it won't be good. Proper nutter.

And that's a bet I wouldn't take.

Likelihood is, she will go to the States to join her twin sister, so we might be safe over here.

I think the repatriating of the two would spark the critical mass needed for them to replay the whole episode over there in the states. Some odd twins can be very weird as they grow up and become embroiled in their own small strange world. Of course not for the mighty majority of twins!

She was diagnosed with possibly suffering from folie à deux* so the possibility of it happening again should they be reunited is quite real.
