Why I have started this topic is kind of out of a little frustration.I have dated a couple of nice ladies from here .But both have kept saying they have issues with their exes .And not certain if they want to date anyone and may take their ex back!!
So why are women out there dating but in truth wish to return to their husbands .And from what I have heard these exes are not really nice men.Plus these ladies have been apart for much longer than me!!
Why bother to go out and date .And tell me how nice i am etc etc.When really u girls want to be back with your husbands /partners etc that treat you all like dirt !!!
There that feels better .So any one else find this!!

Why the heck would anyone want to talk about their ex's on a date??? Surely there are much nicer topics of conversation.
And if your date does that, then they are still in some hooked on them, not let go. Run.

Agree 100%- asking out of interest about what went wrong with your last relationship/marriage is one thing but hearing them crop up constantly in the following conversation(s) spells it out loud and clear for me - they are just not over the ex.
I think that if people drone on and on about the ex, then they have issues. Personally Im not particularly interested in anyones ex. Of course if your discussing a story or such, then yes the ex might come up... as in I had a great time at Moreton, I went there last year. Really who did you go with? My ex. 
Stories about ex's are like fishing stories.. they get a bit jaded after awhile.
As for women who have dating on their profile, and are waiting for the ex - well I think they should sod off. Why dont they just be truthful? they want friendship ... not a bloody relationship. They are already in a relationship... them and some ghost.
This is where the fine art of discernment comes into play... listen, watch, listen some more ... if she's full of anger and hate, dump her, if she's waiting at the window with a lit candle, dump her. If she's accepting and happy then go for it.
