A Male Friend of Mine Invited me To Go with Him To Reno at the end of this week, Just For a Get Away...I havnt decided Yet if I will Go, But Considering it, He Considered a Motel for 3-4 days, and Maybe Going to some Casinos, and Seeing some sites, I am Not Much Of a Gambler, But the Experience of a New Place Is Nice to Visit.. as I have Never Been That far West...

Does Anyone Live In This Area?
I Am Single, Free, White and 21...

Loved the place when I lived in the USA...better than Vegas and not as much crime. Best time to go is at Street Vibrations..if you are a biker that is! if not, avoid it around that weekend.

I use to live in CA and visited Reno many times. It is usually crowded since it is a medium sized town so just be aware of it. Lots of crazy cab drivers there so watch out when you cross the street. The weather will be chilly to downright cold this time of year so take some warm clothes. No matter where you go there is always something to do there. It is beautiful there at night but just be careful. Like any other gambling town it does have its share of shady characters. have fun and take some pictures that you can post on CS when you get back.cheers

Reno is where I used to live.. It "was" a nice place but it seems way to many people from just west of Nevada got fed up with their state and moved to NV. Now why in the hell did they have to go and bring their politics along..doh

If you go Larry, be sure and visit Virginia City and Lake Taco..Tahoe....grin

I have been to Reno many, many times. Absolutely love that town. The people (regulars) are very friendly, you can get to quite a bit of the town on foot (it's not that big in size). Try "The Little Nugget" downtown (Virginia Street), Cal-Neva, The Sands. If you rent a car, go to "Bonanza" outside of the main town, it's past the college (UNR) anyone who lives there can tell you. It's not hard to get to, and a local favorite. Which brings me to this: Trust the town regulars--note where THEY hang out. They aren't dumb. Reno is a big fave of mine, wish I could go!
