USA - most important country in the world. (323)
gardenhackle: It's true. As something like a 51st state, Canadians are very important by proxy. Maybe one day we'll adopt Mexico, too. Might as well since most Mexicans live in the US, anyway. When we annex Mexico, they'll also have a bit of pride in sharing their status as being part of the most important country in the world.
Actually, I think of Canada as 1 of our 57 states.

If you don't believe it's so, just look at how many discussions there are about US Politics and the complete absence of discussions about all the miserable dirty dealings going on everywhere else in the world. The USA is always the topic of conversation, advice, political analysis and completely idiotic monologues and diatribes for people all over the globe. Why?

I've been fortunate enough to travel a bit in the Marines and on my own an dam glad to know something of th eworld outside of the US. American arrogance is part of our (collective) problem here. All this crap about Canada is nuts. They honestly have it better. Better(lower) crime, better economy and better policies...just gotta work on the avg temps a bit

if this is how americans really feel then you wonder why the some of the world is anti-american. i do have a couple of female friends who are american and are really nice girls but you fellas are just typical american loud mouths and cocky basically all mouth and no trousers. If the rest of the world is no good then why come to us for help when you want to start a war for oil or political gains the answer is simple you could not fight your way out of a wet paper bag.

Psssst... we might really feel like we're sick and tired of hearing a bunch of foreign socialists acting like our domestic politics is their business and making it the only political topic getting discussed. I was thinking I could start running political topics about every other country and explaining what they should be doing domestically but, nah.... I figured this would work.... and give folks with a sense of humor something to snicker about.... and give folks that don't a bad case of knickers-knotting which is only appropriate for such folks.
