If you don't believe it's so, just look at how many discussions there are about US Politics and the complete absence of discussions about all the miserable dirty dealings going on everywhere else in the world. The USA is always the topic of conversation, advice, political analysis and completely idiotic monologues and diatribes for people all over the globe. Why?
Because every other country is utterly meaningless and irrelevant.
It's the only logical explanation.

gardenhackle: It's true. As something like a 51st state, Canadians are very important by proxy. Maybe one day we'll adopt Mexico, too. Might as well since most Mexicans live in the US, anyway. When we annex Mexico, they'll also have a bit of pride in sharing their status as being part of the most important country in the world.

No sense to compare with Mexico because we are going to be annexed to USA.

You know, I have a hard time giving a rip about the opinion of folks that aren't bright enough to recognize a little tongue in cheek chain yanking (especially when it's SOOOOOO very thoroughly deserved). If they just aren't that bright, how in the hell can I give their opinion more weight than my own? OK... trick question. I can't. So I don't really give a rip what they think about the US or me, for that matter.
Threads like this are a good way for me to figure out who's bright enough to be worth knowing and who to just point at and laugh.

Glad you never posted this in China......If the Chinese called in your debt to them ......Your country would be bankrupt in days.....And I am glad to say that enough Americans have their eyes open and know the world depends on Trade and MUTUAL respect something you lack but then again, it takes a working brain and the use of the 5 senses to be aware of what is going on around you....Now the difficult bit I have is figuring out which sense you lack.
