In response to: I was stopped by a guy the other day at the train station and had to listen to half an hour of information about the book of mormon because i cant tell someone to go away lol. he was very nice but annoying because i am a christian. has anyone else experienced this and how did they deal with it?

Right, wrong or indifferent those people regard themselves as missionaries as many religious groups have through the ages.
They truly believe they are spreading the word and personally I don't have a problem with them. I may not agree with or follow their particular "brand" or philosophies/lifestyle but to me, they mean no harm and don't deserve the rudeness and denigration that some would pass on to them.
Many people have deeply entrenched views and opinions on many different subjects and will try to persuade you to accept those views.
Religion is just one of them.

a subject that sometimes, is not discussed properly , like our own indigenous people, it is sometimes very frustrating to get opinions to agree and not get upset .so usually stay away from it.Don't you think

I work in disability; I give them heaps of sign language and they give up!! Works for pushy salespeople too.
tonyxf: What a name for a prophet, Smith,they dont seem to care what u ask they have a stupid answer for everything as long as they can get 10% of everything u got and times everything u got thats all they care. Best just turn and walk away, I always slam the door.

Yes they even have a heaven for atheists, theres no one there.I had them here the other morning but just told them I wasn't interested. They were really good and left but the lady that used to come before them would just keep talking. I wish I could have been rude.

it is rude, to enforce your views on another, regardless of if they are religious, athiest, or any other such thing.. it shows a marked lack of respect, and you are within your rights to point that out

I know but it's just not in me. Don't worry, I'm sure when I've really had enough it will be easier to say it.
