I need a big favour!!

My students are putting on a Christmas play, which consists of a number of small plays, songs dancing etc all performed in English by the Students studying English, I have been asked to give a video “fly on the wall documentary” of a typical Western Christmas day.
It then crossed my mind that if I could add some “Best Wishes” from around the world, the students would just love it.

So, can anyone out there make a short video (Digital camera/camcorder), just saying Hello and wishing all the students a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year? Only about or less than 1 minute.

I would be so grateful if anyone can help, plus it would be great for the students to hear English spoken with many different accents. Especially those who have English as a second language!!

Thanking you in advance. Rizlared. teddybear

Thank you
All the students are such hard workers, it just seems fair they get something in return. We have 2000 English language students and only two Foreign teachers, so they have very little opportunity to actually hear real English spoken.

I would ask that those who can make a short video, then Email it to me, I can then edit them all together, and make a 5-10 minute video, which can be screened in the "Big Hall" a kind of theatre,my College is not a rich one, so facilities are a little poor, but the "Theatre" does hold about 1000 people, no seats!! but a stage and a mulitimedia setup with large screen at the back of the stage.

Bob if you can save it to your computer, then send that file to my email address I can do the rest.
It would be wonderful to have your input, especially as I use your posts as an example to my students on how by using English it will improve every day. cheers

Hi Riz,

A friend of mine pointed out this thread. A lovely idea to do this for your cutie pie students. I have some friends nearby who have a few Chinese students living with them. If we can get the logistics right, it would be really nice for them to give send their greetings, too.

Sending you mail.
