We are up to 10 here with loads of rain forecast - better we have some it it pouring down here if we can take a bit of pressure off the flooded areas but it probably doesnt work that way....

It's a year tody since that earth quake in haiti,and they still are ina mess. We in the states are having another extreme and unusual storm front, But Austrailia is always in the news and my heart goes out to you. Be safe and I will keep you in my prayers. I was evacuated on Tuesday Im out on the Northside and affected by Lake Somerset and Lake Kurwongbah
fortunately we woke yesterday Wednesday and the rain had stopped 
so I was able to return to my home. It was so frightening R, there was only one way into us, my brother in law came in, got the Short person out, I threw everything up as high as I could, grabbed the cats and bolted to a friends house.
Red is in trouble
she's been flooded completely by the Brisbane River, but got most of her stuff out, am trying to reach her, cause where she went to was at risk last night.Today the river has peaked now, and the water will start to fall, so Im hopeful that Red will be able to send a message.
