I find Im actually less stressed not smoking! When I smoked I was stressed about running out when the shops were closed ,budgeting enough for the week and just the physicological stressers heart rate blood presure etc .When you give up for good you realize that each time you reached for that ciggarette you actually were increasing your stress levels .I dont have to think about it anymore Its over , The relief when you can say to yourself thats it Ill never smoke again is a very empowering moment ....

no worries Tarnz, you just get sick of people trying to brainwash people to their own view, as theirs is the only opinion that seems to matter.
I am a non smoker, and always have been, but grew up with a mum that smoked and lived with a partner for 13 years who smoked.
some people choose to smoke, others choose to eat, others choose other vices, some legal, some not.
but we all should have respect for other peoples choices and have tolerance for each others vices
