outdoorgirlsun: I have never voted a straight party line, EVER! We've got to have a mix and a fairly close mix. If not, we basically have a dictatorship!

leigh2154: Well Fred, that explains a lot!!!...Thank you!!!

I do much better on Presidential elections, but primaries, not so good. I think next time I'll get involved early and volunteer my time. It depends on who is nominated. I can swing Republican or Democratic, but currently I'm registered as a Dem.

Since you seem to be trying to figure me out, try this!

In your heart you know he's right.

Ah the simpler times of Barry Goldwater. Life would be different now if he'd won. I was too young to vote in 1964.

[quote Wikipedia]The United States presidential election of 1964 was the sixth-most lopsided presidential election in the history of the United States behind the elections of 1936, 1984, 1972, 1864, and 1980 (in terms of electoral votes; in terms of popular vote, it was the fifth-most). President Lyndon B. Johnson had come to office less than a year earlier following the assassination of his predecessor, John F. Kennedy, and Johnson had successfully associated himself with Kennedy's popularity. Johnson also successfully painted his opponent, Republican Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona, as a right-wing legislator who wanted to abolish the social welfare programs created in the 1930s (such as Social Security). LBJ advocated more such programs, and after 1965, instituted three: Medicare, Medicaid, and the War on Poverty. With these factors working for him, Johnson easily won the Presidency, carrying 44 of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

zzoen: By the way; even if the towers were exploded, it might have been a terrorist act. Perhaps the planes where there just to make sure everyone saw it was terrorism? Some employees might have been undercover Bin Ladens and carried in explosives every morning when they went to "work".

Beat that conspiracy theory!

I cannot think of a better conspiracy but wait........how come the tabloids knew in advance? Of course it is not true! wave

Correct silverman1981

There are 2 sides to every story. It has been almost 10 years since 911. This thread also relates to the Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy and 911. This may not be solved in our Generation, but handed over to our future generations, just like Kennedy the conspiracy to solve. Many witnesses to both tragedies are gone and not alive to tell their story.

Paldi5: Speaking from experience, sorry to say. I voted Party Line in the last primary. Didn't have a clue who I was voting for as long as they were Democrats. Next time I'll do better.

Yes I do have a few crystal balls... and a magic wand!

Interesting, in Indiana you select your party affiliation. Within the party you can select the various candidates. You can't vote for 1 Republican for the governor's race and 1 Democrat for Secretary of State.

I will just say one thing in the thread to the 811 truthers that post here. That is ...explain the 100s of phone calls from the passengers on planes to their families...many of them that were recorded, and all sworn to in the 911 Commission hearings.

Give me a acceptable answer there.....then we can talk about all the other conspriracy angles you have.....
