It doesnt have to be your favourate song, just one that brings back strong memories, good or bad.

One of mine is "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf at the Hells Angles concert at Broadford Vic in the late 70s, still love the song/band and almost remember the show. confused angel

I was 18yo and just bought my 1st LP - The Swing by: INXS.
I must have played every song on it 100 times at the highest volume my Akai amp would through the big wooden speekers I'd found cheap at a local opp shop. Original Sin was my favourite on the album.

OMG - Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell, 21 yo, met a crowd of Scots on the Greek Islands persuaded to give Amsterdam a go, working in Amsterdam, boyfriend worked in a bar and put it on the jukebox, yep, jukebox on constant replay. A great unrepeatable time in my life. dance party buddies

peter gunn theme, was watching a local band in the eighties that used this tune to enter and exit the stage at breaks, met up with a friend there who told me of the death of a very dear friend

googoo dolls ... iris, strikes a chord often. the lyrics are quite disjointed and reference to the song was made to me by a very special person , using it to explain things, i'm still a bit confused, but i got the general gist.

62 years and a very varied life mean lots of great memories. Some are good some way less than that, but I am who I am because of the life i have lived and I would not change a thing.

This is very hard as so many songs bring back so many strong memeories.

"Oh what a night " Elvis Presley when I first kissed my to be 2nd wife on a cruise ship with the moon steaming off the water. Ill fated voyage. Would make a great C& W song, except it was not really country.

"Knock 3 times" and "Gloria" who I was going out with at the time. My first real girlfriend.

"Unchained Melody" was The Song at my second wedding. This song has always raised my emotional levels since I first heard it and still does to this day.

"Hair" (because I so much wanted to grow it then)
and "Aquarius" because they so brought about changes in my lives.

"Born to Wild" because that is how I feel about life.

"Dance of the Waltzing Flowers" music by Stauss (?) as it brings out that feeling that you can really achieve things when you put you mind and heart into it.

"Viva Los Vegas" because I love to drive, wanted to really put my foot down, but too cautious to tempt fate.

"My Ding-a-Ling" because it was what all us 'normal' guys where thinking about at the time.

Sounds a bit woozey but John Farnharm's songs have stirred the emotions through my trials and tribulations during my 1st divorce and trying for the 2nd time around.

Many songs bring back many events and emotions. Probably why I don't have music playing these days.
