Dear Gingerbe,
It is much regret that I need to inform you that my brother Dennis suddenly passed away at his house in France on the morning of the 9th Feb 2011. I have his email password and as such I am trying to let all his contacts know that Dennis is no longer with us. He was my elder brother and shall be sadly missed.
Kind Regards
Alan Walker "
I contacted him for more details and apparantly he was found dead in his house this morning, by a plumber who had been doing some work for him. Dennis had had a swelling on the brain operated on just before Christmas, and was given the all clear.
A sad end fora lovely man. Condolences to his family.
I told them I would be putting up this thread for anyone who wanted to leave messages for the family. They said they'd appreciate this.
I heard about this last night G on Facebook, it is very sad news indeed. I didn't really know him but enjoyed the small interaction that we did have on the forums. He was signed up for the CS Glasgow meet and I was looking forward to meeting him there.
I was going to post something in that thread but not until his brother had the time to inform family and friends first which now must have been done.
I will put a link to this thread in the meeting sign up thread.
...I didn't get the opportunity to know him but his brother feeling led to notify his friends that otherwise would have always wondered what happened shows great character...my condolences

I have just read a few of his ops and posts and he seems a very sensitive, kind man who was very keen to find a new partner and with no malice to him. I can only hope that it was painless. RIP.
i didn;t know him or wasn;t one of his contacts but i would like to express my deepest sympathies to the family and to all who did know him. I am so sorry for your loss on your brother's passing. He will be missed i am sure on here to all who did get the opportunity to know him and i am sorry i didn;t get a chance too myself. Please accept my condolences on my family;s behalf my dear, i am sure you loved him very much. Please pass this on to your family. I am very sorry for your loss and for you and your family. If you need someone to talk to i am available anyttime and please feel free to contact me here if you need me. i am a great listener and i do have older brothers myself and know how hard it will be so i do feel for you honestly.
