omgamike: No, he is not. But there is a big difference between constructive criticism and derogatory insults. Yours were the latter.

Certainly that would never happen to Bush by Dems, would it? laugh

Let's not be so negative OMGaMike.

omgamike: Your comment is totally inappropriate.

Furthermore, we are not the world's policeman. We can no longer afford the loss of more of our brave men and women, nor our country's treasure, for not better reason than to secure the interests of greedy businessmen and their oil interests.

And as far as Japan goes, we are doing what we can, as we can. The severe danger involved does not allow anyone to ride in, shouting "Wahoo!", shooting off their six guns. Get real, man.

You shouldn't be speaking of our President this way, no matter whether he is Republican or Democrat. He is "our" President!

I'm gambling you said that during the last administration too. laugh

Bush or as I fondly call him "George W Bi**h" logged more hours at this ranch in Texas then in his office.

mcajr1979: Are you kidding.. Our country was being driven into the ground by Bush. He is the worst president this country has ever saw and it will take years upon years to fix everything he has ruined.

Let me guess. Conveniently, I bet the number is 8 years. rolling on the floor laughing

I'd suggest he gets us out of the mess he's got us in, then he can work on the minor problems. laugh

devon80: Yup yup yup! Freddy for pres.

I've not written my first autobiography yet. So I doubt I can meet Obama's standard. He did it when he was in his 30's. (not sure what the hell he had accomplished at that age, but whatever...)

I did hear he wrote a good kiddie book while in the white house!
I'll see if I can find it online. I'm sure it was a million seller too.

I question us doing anything at all.

I was watching on tv and the rebels were shooting their rifles straight up in the air. ANY IDIOT knows that bullets come down just about as fast as they go up. doh I'm not sure replacing one batch of dumb asses with another set gets much. rolling on the floor laughing

tomcatwarne: Did the American people accept a lower standard of living, did they agree to tighten their belts. No they expected a pampered life as usual, of course Obama had to borrow, and pay interest on Bushes extravigance, he is trying to hold your whole shattered economy together, and maintain your greedy standard of living. If you want to pillory him for that go ahead, it's not my country.

As a matter of fact, Tomcat, yes many of us have. I pay more for everything, so I shop frugally. I use my gas frugally. I haven't bought myself anything in over a year. I'm not sitting around eating bon bons all day, or going to the spa. I do my own manicures and pedicures, always have. I give to the needy and I've never taken a dime from our government in any way shape or form.
The only thing I ask for in return, is my social security when I'm 65, that I've paid into since I was 17. I don't know what Americans you know that are living high on the hog, except the few that have a LOT of money.

Where do you think Nixon's Office was when he went to Grand Cay,Bahamas,Cay Biscayne,Jim Crosby's Hideout?
The Office is with the President, but NOT on a Golfcourse! All you have is a Cellphone there!
Clinton "LOST" his Opportunity to get Osama,by playing Golf,by not picking up the Cellphone, therefore kicking the Can down the Road for Bush to deal with!Slick Willy indeedy!laugh

Now Im really worried Leigh...The last thing any of us need is to get sucked into yet another war. We all have enough on our plates. None of our nations can afford it (with the exception of Arab nations) Our respective economies are still waaaaay to shaky. As well as the situation in Japan...not a good day on planet earth crying
