thumbs up john12196341

Not only was he playing Golf, he was also playing NCAA 12 brackets on National TV. (He should be concentrating on our National economy problems, Libya and Japan).

Like it or not, Obama is a 1 term Playboy President. I'll leave it at that...and opinions of Obama bashing are wrong because the facts are there if you take the time to look them up.

leigh2154: And could your eat a seven course meal in front of 100 starving men, women, and children?...Obama could at least show some respect.....he has a bowling alley in the White House, can't he just bowl until things calm down?

He could go out and work in the "presidential vegetable garden" that Michelle works in. That could reduce stress.

When he was running for election and he had that Roman pillar stage in Denver, I was led to believe the whole world wanted him as a leader. professor

Just my opinion, but Obama is washy- washy as a President.

He goes with whatever flow is to make himself look good for his 2012 election.

This is not a strong Leader in my opinion...but rather a weak leader.

Did anyone catch the fact that Don Trump is about ready to announce his Presidential Candidacy? I can't wait to see the debate between him and Obama.

john12196341: well he could impose a no fly zone and take out that person aircraft and tanks, supply weapons to the rebels, have covert operations in libya and have the rebels take out the madman. this nation cannot sit back and let the people of libya get slaughtered otherwise this nation would be viewed by the world that we don't care abpout anyone. surely the UN won't do anything..even clinton regretted not helping the people of rwanda when they were cut to ribbons. this president has no leadership skills whatsoever

Could he? Is he a dictator of the world?

Want to know something? Bush had nothing to do w/that "Mission Accomplished" sign. It was put up by the crew on the ship. Bush even went on to say he wished they hadn't done it.

Nice try though.

kidatheart: No, it was the White House staff that made the sign, and put it up. Georgie was too busy with his flyboy publicity stunt to hang it himself.

I wonder how much that cost the American taxpayer, when compared with a round of golf.

If it weren't for Rumsfeld removing the "mission accomplished" from his speech, that would have been in there too.

try though.

I didn't want Obama but it was either him or a Republican which are the reason that this country is in such horrible shape. I am independent and the best idea is the one that gets my vote. I believe that lableing yourself as one party or another keeps you from seeing things from every angle. It is ok to sway more to one side but you should never vote one way just because it is what your party normally believes in. every instance should be taken for what it is. With this said, I wanted Hillary to win. When Bill was president she was the power behind him and our country was really improving and then 8 years of Bush ruined it. I kept asking why anyone would vote for a man who avoided serving our country by going National gaurd and being placed in a station well away from the lines (like many rich kids) as well as growing up a spoiled oils man's son who never earned anything in his life. Besides, oil men would want to see the price of gas go through the roof because it would make them more money and it did. What a shock!

A lot of you are probably the same people that believe Obama isn't an American or a Christian. Please, please, please take your crazy somewhere else and leave rational Americans in peace to restore America. Thank you.

""The banner stating "Mission Accomplished" was a focal point of controversy and criticism. Navy Commander and Pentagon spokesman Conrad Chun said the banner referred specifically to the aircraft carrier's 10-month deployment (which was the longest deployment of a carrier since the Vietnam War) and not the war itself, saying "It truly did signify a mission accomplished for the crew."

The White House claimed that the banner was requested by the crew of the ship, who did not have the facilities for producing such a banner. Afterward, the administration and naval sources stated that the banner was the Navy's idea, White House staff members made the banner, and it was hung by the U.S. Navy personnel. White House spokesman Scott McClellan told CNN, "We took care of the production of it. We have people to do those things. But the Navy actually put it up." According to John Dickerson of Time magazine, the White House later conceded that they actually hung the banner but still insists it had been done at the request of the crew members""

As for Rumsfeld taking out any reference to Mission Accomplished I do believe that this shows that nobody in the Administration believed nor wished to have the public view the major combat operations as the end of the mission.

Before Obama took office, things were changing slowly.
After Obama took office, it was a slap in the face reality check.
He promised change and he gave us a rude awakening.
Some things America will be grateful for and some things America will fight for.
JMHO!
