I have to agree - when I first started posting stuff- I was attacked on a very personal level when my intent was simply to bring forth a positive view on certain issues.
I was called every name in the book(pretty much) when nothing I wrote was directed in a specific direction or at any "type" of person.
This is why they call it a FORUM - views, opinions and thoughts are to be expressed if agreeing or not with them. I've lived many years with the concept of - AGREE TO DISAGREE, but always respect others for their views, but when you are being attacked personally - it makes it hard to remain GENERAL!!

I was a member of another dating site ,which also has forums .Old members ,I mean regulars are very territorial .They are loyal to the leader to imbecility ...thats Interenet none of what was mentioned is gender specific
