Boban1: If he hasn`t asked you for money ,what else could he be scamming you for???

Working papers ???

I talked with a man for 6 weeks before he went to Lagos for work and then another 3 weeks after "he was in Lagos" before he mailed his demise about being robbed and was stabbbed and had no money and no ID to get medical help. They can talk for a long time before they bite!

Have you seen him on Webcam, if not try it out and you’ll see who exactly you’ve been talking to.
In Africa many Africans speak English and do it as well as any other English speaking person. Remember there are some real smart scammers out there and yes he could be for real but be very smart and cautious.

Taking his time...gaining her trust...When I was new to the world of online dating, I was quite naive. And the 1st scammer got me good. Called me, texted me constantly, his English was awesome, he sent me flowers, chocolates. Asked me to come visit him on his temporary contract job in Ghana, but something always seemed to come up. He said he would then visit me...but something always came up. His English was perfect.
He invested time and money for sure....but his rewards would've been worth it if he would've duped me.
The cracks will start showing up soon. And now, Skype, Skype, Skype.

Another bit of advice. If he says he doesn't have an SS# ask him how he pays his taxes. If he strays from answering RUN like the wind!

OK I will ask him about his security number. I thought scammers just want your money but he never asked me for money, and he said he would come to visit me if I want too. I dont know how it works with the e-mail. I cant see on my e-mail account that word preference. I know where he lives in the states and I know his first and last name, yes I know it could be wrong names.
But you know what he sent me pics of himself and they were normal pics, pics from himself, with a friend together and he looks the same like he looks on his pic here.
But why should he called me? I thought they dont have any money?
Why he never asked me for money, just the opposite. I told you he wanted to send me money to help me out. And he doesnt say he loves me and all that. I mean I met someone here and he wanted to marry me after 3 days! I will find it out and if he has nothing to hide he will give me his security number. If not, then I know something is wrong with him!!!!
I really thought I was smarter confused
Thank you so much for your help. And I will let you know what he is going to tell me.

Boban1: So he did go for the money after all

he begged and pleaded me for money and at that time I only had dial up so searching the net was very painful. Every question about the states he avoided and said he never had a SS# but wouldn't tell me how else to pay taxes. If he was a business man he would know all that. Went to library and searched and found his photo and email listed on scammer site.

Those could be anyone's photos. Please realize, they can be clever. And he will not provide your his social security number. It is simple...to eliminate your doubts, simply ask him to webcam with you. Period.
And you are correct...he is not asking you for money, yet. He is playing this game slow and sure...building and gaining your trust.
Scammers don't need to be someone who is homeless and without one penny to their name...they may have some money. This is like an investment to some of the them...spend some time, money, and effort to gain your trust.

Thats the deceit hun. They will offer the world to girls with the hearts of gold as we would never accept that. Think about that. Ask him to send to the money and see if it arrives. You don't have to collect it. My scammer called me all the time as well. What else do they have to do with their time. The money they use to call you is minimal compared to the amount of money they get from poor victims. BE CAREFUL AND MINDFUL OF HIS TAILS.

As Im not a scammer( not a good one anyway) laugh
I don`t get their philosophy

I assume that he/she ,works on scamming more than just one person at the time .So if he or she invests his time and money on several potential victims ,for what amount of money can he hope for to cover his invested money dunno

I agree with you! Not too many people I know will just up and give their SS# out, atleast if they are smart they wont. She could pull it off with just the middle 2 numbers but that takes some digging. Simplest solution Webcam.cheers
