Yes they landed on the moon. It wasn't a one time thing. I forget how many times they lande on the moon. I watched Allen Sheppard hit a golf ball on the moon. If it was staged why stage it 4 or 5 times?

Blues63: There'll always be those who don't believe it. Without actually taking them to a landing site personally, they'll never believe it. They'd probably question the authenticity of that experience anyway.

I'm sure NASA don't particulary care what these people believe, other than the ongoing denigration of NASA's greatest achievement.

Nasa'a greatest achievement is the Space Shuttle and today is a very historic day for it. It's last mission to the ISS !!!

The whole Appolo thing is an embarrasment that they wish would go away..................quietly.......!

I'm not disagreeing with you dude, but, well, when I was in Israel last October I saw any number of desert landscapes there that could easily have been used for staging the Apollo lunar landings. uh oh
Next time I see a film of a moon landing though I'm now gonna have to look real close to see if anyone's racing donkeys in the background. laugh

tallman51: It's worth noting that the only so called proof that we landed on the moon is........

1. Nasa said so.
1. the same dozen or so photos which ahve been out there for the last 40 years. What about the other thousands of photos ??
Don'r forget the very funny video footage too.
I hope that director got sacked !

So the geological evidence is faked as well? doh

Gimme a break! laugh

The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer will revolutionize what we know about invisible cosmic rays the same way NASA's Hubble Space Telescope rewrote what we know about the visible universe says the intellectual force behind the instrument. The AMS is to launch on space shuttle Endeavour in May.

Those expectations are not lost on the team putting the finishing touches on the AMS and packing it for launch.

"This kind of has grains of Hubble, looking at the universe in a different perspective," said Boeing's Bob Hart, the payload flow manager for the AMS. "The science, the exploration potential that will come out of this makes it very exciting to be a part of."

Professor Sam Ting, a Nobel Prize winner for his 1974 discovery of a heavy elemental particle, sees the AMS as a revolutionary observatory to measure invisible cosmic rays as they traverse the universe.

The AMS is a 2-ton ring of powerful magnets and ultrasensitive detectors built to track, but not capture, cosmic rays. The 15,251-pound instrument will be connected to the outside of the International Space Station, braced on the orbiting laboratory's right hand truss and tilted a bit so it will not interfere with any of the station's mechanisms and storage platforms. It will be operated remotely from Earth and should not require any attention from astronauts in orbit.
