So who built the moon ?
Is it correct to say that the geo composition of the moon is not the same as the earth - the rocks are much older ?

I'll await that with interest - there are some interesting leftfield theories in Christopher Knights book "Who built The Moon", indicating that its unusual size and closeness to the earth acted as an incubator for human life, but also suggesting that it may have been 'placed' into orbit specifically for that purpose...

tallman51: Of course it wasn't real !!! Science has proven many times that the radiation would have burned them up. All of the footage and photos look so fake.
This is the one that I can't wait to see the americans finally explain !!!
It was also very convenient that all the original footage went missing the day before it was to be inspected by experts.

Come on America !!!! Tell us the truth !!!
You have lied to us for way too long on this one !!!!!

That's probably why they wore space suits....Everything the Americans have done with space travel has enabled you to live the life your living now. Cell phones, TV and Internet for you to babble about your conspiracy theories...

Besides, who cares what you or your country thinks? You don't have the technology to accomplish such a feat anyway.

I am very interested in what Nasa has done as regards space exploration. Orbiting the earth and the spacestation all takes place less than 300 miles above the earth. I love the technology that america has provided the world with.
To still claim that man landed on the mon 6 times between 1969 and 1972 is just plain stupid. Evem Nasa can't provide the proof.

Do you do anything meaningful with your life? or do you just worry yourself about everything Americans do? Sounds like a little eny problem to me

If you read back through the thread you would see that I am a retired Boeing 737 airline pilot. I now teach student pilots to fly the Boeing 737 800. I have soent tine at Boeing in Renton Washington and at Nasa while working on flight simulator equipment for Boeing.
I have no interest in conspiracy theories but I do love facts !
I have had a keen interest in the Apollo program for the last 20 years and If I honestly believed that we landed on the moon I certainly would not be writing this now.
No manned spacecraft has ever gone higher than 1,000 miles above the earths surface.

Techs to Replace LCA-2 on Endeavour
Tue, 03 May 2011 01:51:33 PM UTC+0100

Technicians at NASA's Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Pad 39A removed the Load Control Assembly-2 (LCA-2) box in the orbiter's aft compartment last night. Teams are evaluating data from inspections and will install a new LCA-2 after evaluations and any repairs, if needed, have been made.

Managers will continue to evaluate the repair process and make any additional adjustments before scheduling Endeavour’s next launch attempt for its STS-134 mission to the International Space Station.

The earliest Endeavour could be launched on the STS-134 mission is Tuesday, May 10.

Plans are for managers to reconvene Friday to determine a more definite launch date after the box is removed and replaced and the retest of systems has been completed.

The STS-134 crew is in the motion base simulator this morning, conducting refresher ascent and entry sims prior to their planned return to Kennedy later this week for the second launch attempt.

Gee... wasn't NASA supposed to have made their special announcement by now?

Always amusing when people commit to an event like that and it fails miserably.

Wait let me guess... They'll announce it SOON.

Again.
