gemeh22: prince charming sorry this is more friendship actually. Im just contemplating the worthiness of putting yourself out there to people. having to deal with such a situation right now of major disappoint. in time I'll be back to my normal love everyone self, just with a few more bricks put on that "wall"
Every relationship starts with friendship or should at least .... right?
I know what you mean, feel that way a lot lately.
Not much point in writing people that don't write back, or ever write you. It's a waste of time, and energy, so why bother.
Might be time to hit the "delete" button, although where do you stop?
gemeh22: do you ever wonder if its worth it to open up to someone when the chances are is that they will not turn out to be the friend/person you thought they were and you will be disappointed/hurt in the end?
If people can't handle who you are, then they don't deserve you.
Hi Gem.. Well, to be perfectly honest,i am not someone who opens up to anyone, about anything personal.I have never seen what it achieves. My personal life, feelings and emotions are mine,i own them, and i deal with them. It doesnt mean to say if i am with someone i love i wouldnt tell them my love for them, but if you are both in love, talking about your feelings with eachother would come naturally.

Think of it as a scale, Gem, with totally-shut-down-and-guarded at one end, and wide-open-free-and-easy at the other. It's probably not good to go all-out to either extreme. But I think it would be okay to move more in one direction sometimes, and other times move back toward the other. Meaning, it's okay if you feel guarded just now, you might feel less so tomorrow.

Hi, my friend.
Well, for what its worth, Id say in general its better to leave the door open for contact and further communication.
I understand you are wary, and your right to be of anyone, but in time you will get to know them better and decide if they are right for you or not. Either as a potential partner, or just a pal.
You have to keep in mind HE might be feeling the same way, so as they say..."Slowly, Slowly, Catchy Monkey"..
