How life changes hey?

I remember lots about the good old days, one thing I really regret is that Germaine Greer showed her face and promoted women's rights..

Although I think women had certain 'rights' due,
the fact that we have to do an un proportional amount of work as well as being a mother, carer, cleaner, and bill payer is sort of lost on me... I never liked it then, as I resent it now.

In my view, just being a female human being was good enough...

and yes, you can all disagree with me.. peace

Merriweather: I dont miss the typewriter, Jeez Whiz but pounding on those old things really hurt the fingertips,

but miss the ashtray that used to sit besides it...

I do miss the "less stress" and more fun that life afforded, everything was taken lightly, hours at work were less, and employment was easy.

I miss Janis Joplin... her raunchy voice..

I miss John Lennon & George Harrison, among many others..

I miss that life that maybe we could have had, if technology had not moved so quickly...

I feel like too much has changed in too short time, and if I compare the way our life has moved, it doesn'tseem to synch with the way nature goes slowly ...

I hope I am making sense...

Shell225: My brother and his mates wanted a car ... so they each put in $6 and got one for $50. It was unregistered and had no plates, so the dodgy biker dude that sold it to them, ripped the plates off another car, and stuck them on...

The car was so slow, that some dudes wanted to have a fight after a party, and decided that they would park at the down side of a hill and wait for my brother and his mates to come past. Sadly the fight dudes had to wait so long for the little car to get up the hill, that they got bored and left. The boys only heard about it weeks later.
