I do respond to them, if they give email straight up, i send them a big wave and have a good day. I'm always suspicious of o/s contacts, i now only allow aus/nz. When i was getting o/s, they were ok first up, then they say"i'm sick of this site" and ask if you have msn or something like that. The scammers are saying now at times they live in melbourne or brisbane, they are very cunning, just be so aware.

people posting in the forums are most likely fine any other that message you READ AND WALK CAREFULLY...
if I get an email addy from them, I just ignore them cause they are scammers.
If its someone sending me an intelligent reference to something I've said in a forum, I talk to them. Have become good friends with several fella's from OS ... and we've been email friends for a number of years now.
Real people just tend to write differently from scammers, JMO

I have overseas friends that I've connected with on the Inters and we email to and fro.
Other than that, 99% of foreign contact is from scammers and I ignore it.
