I recently posted on the Inters on a thread where the OP stated that most people are afraid to speak their mind...I wrote that I have no such trouble(mostly) saying what I think and feel.
The OP said I was an unusual case and that men must be afraid of me.
I can't identify with that as they are not the kind of man I know or associate with in my personal life.
I didn't think I was that much of an ogre.

I had a local guy email me a quite a while back, after a couple of emails he discovered that lm very capable of looking after myself and can turn my hand to pretty much anything and he felt that he wasnt the right man for me as he wanted someone he could look after.

yep, they cant understand that you do want to be loved and cared for, you just can paint your own walls, change a tyre, the oil, mow the yard, regrout the bathroom... blah blah blah.
