I think a month is a very short time to expect any results on a dating site shyguy, it takes time to connect with someone likeminded, to build up trust and a relationship.
Keep trying and though I read your profile and your reason for not putting up a pic, it does help as the others have said.
People like to know who they are talking to for the most part

I'v been on here for a bit longer & i have found many are a lot younger than i & many of cause over sea's , Iv not found many from here in N Z so dont think its so easy , one other detail is that there are many who dont wont to have contact form Austraila even just to say hi. & be friends , so thats changed my idear of even bothering to send a email post or any thing , so i have learnt a few things being on dateing sites, . tho on another site we have a lot of scammer's . & every thing they say or put up on the sites is lie's ,
& its only for kiwi's & even here none bother answering .
