Godsgift: You beat me too it. My first heart break!
The end of Soldier Blue is very disturbing too!
I agree. Soldier Blue was very disturbing
I recently a film about some chinese immigrants who were picked up by a Scottish fishing boat to be smuggled in but it didn't quite work out as planned. Very disturbing film, It was called The North (something...can't quite recall the third word)
Last night I watched for probably the 4th or 5th time "Cry The Beloved Country" with James Earl Jones. I had read the book as a child and the movie is excellent, beautiful scenery in S Africa, marvelous cast, interesting, beautiful, but also disturbing
I haven't read back over any of the replies on this thread but I think I will be the first to say "Song for a Raggy Boy"
This falls into the most disturbing film I have ever seen, to the point that I couldn't eat my Malteasers and had to go for a stiff drink afterwards....
