Think I had a bit of a brain snap last week, bought a couple of second-hand bedside tables for my daughters room, (lovely modern white) and came away with a bookshelf and display cabinet as well! dancing blushing

Aaaah - now all I gotta do is take all the stuff off a corner computer desk/hutch, a 6ft bookcase and another dumping desk! frustrated

Boxes of books, files, bits and pieces covering the lounge room floor.

help help help

Was this a good idea 2 weeks before Xmas? blues

Don't think so, the Xmas tree is still in the box in the corner of the room with the box of decos to go on it! Might get it done sometime soon ....... cool

Ever done anything you thought was a great idea yay ....... then so realised it was pretty dumb doh

Boy have you come to the right place doh

I'm a shocker, I start out thinking I'll sort the pantry out and end up stripping all the shelves and scrubbing them, washing out containers and reorganising everything which then leads to the cupboards under the bench which then leads to washing the floor which then leads to fifty million other things when I really intended just to do the dishes doh

I wonder whether there's medication for this condition yet sad flower

Yes, that is me to a tee. If I tackle something like that, it usually ends up with me throwing out almost everything.. I am not a hoarder, and if I see anything about that I have not used for 6 months, I throw it... and then... yep you can guess the rest... doh

Naw, don't have that problem. Okay, I do. I get too distracted by the other umpteen thousand other things that need doing. I have a daughter who is most helpful in throwing out all the useful things I haven't used in the last week.

Thank you Curly, you sweetpea you... bouquet

I am getting there slowly... but

Last year when the garden was absolutely picture perfect, I had cars of people coming by to see the display... they would stop out the front.

Ummm ... maybe it was also that last year I planted the very front out with the pumpkins and veges.. ( on the council land part)

Very different. lol. laugh

Your garden sounds very nice merriweather I get a lot of people stopping and commenting on my garden when I am out side working in it, if I sell up and move on I know I am doing the right thing I have aways had huge gardens and enjoyed them I have many before and after shots of my gardens & port folio's of gardens I have built & designed for work to look back on. But now it's time for me to start slowing down but hey not to a screeching halt gawd couldn't handle being idle gotta keep motivated.

What seemed like a good idea a few hours ago this Saturday afternoon was to buy a new car! I walked into a dealership thinking to look at their 2nd hand cars and 2 hours later I walked out with a contract to buy a new Car-olla.
NOW I start doing my research and find I paid top dollar for it, sucked in by their 3.9% finance deal.
I do have a 3 day cooling off period but therre is a $500 penalty attached to that.
christmas sad
