I am taking a two-months break from work in March-April and wants to visit countries I hav'nt decided yet.
I want to make a deal with people who have plans to come to India during Dec/Jan/ Feb. I would help them in getting the best out of India with minimum expenses and would expect them to return the favours during my trip to their country
I know its kinda weird but possible

I also would like to travel the world as you plan to do but like you it would be only with those that I have gotten to know closely . Not a bad idea. I've had locals guide me on my own vacations, and I would never have gotten as much out of the place without them.
Since I just moved south, I need to discover the place properly myself, get in order etc, after that, that would actually sound fun.
Norway is a expensive country though :/

I agree Franky and I am hoping to make it too PR someday. Besides there are entire websites devoted to house swapping and they check credentials carefully and there is a rigorous screening process. If your going to do something like this, do it safely.
