Yeah it's my best friends birthday Stralia day and we are leaning to going out on the Friday or Saturday night rather than Stralia Day on Thursday due to the crowds to celebrate. Be very hard almost impossible to get a park in the city areas as well as the suburbs where they are having fireworks dunno confused As we get older can't be bothered with huge crowds sigh

It is a time when "Australia" was formed as a colony. Okay, it was "New South Wales" at that time. It has evolved over time to become very multi-culutral where we all have accepted people from many different countries. We have put a lot of effort into making everyone believe we are one country. Unfortunately, not everyone wants to be an Aussie.

Gees, it's been so hot there this year. Aircon inside the tavern will be lovely.

Jeez, I bet you were , poor thing.. glad to hear you are now better..

The pool thingo sounds good.. I guess I am not much for going swimming, I had an opportunity last night, but I know I get cold too quickly, so I dont go in... ( my sons house, he has a pool) but if this weather continues, I will nip round on Thursday and dip my toes..

I have put in for annual leave on Friday, so that makes it a long weekend... applause cheering

Better still, I have asked for all of April off... cheering cheering

Cheers Curly... cheers

I'm an outside person too, if it's not sweltering heat. Haven't eaten at the Breakwater, only been there a couple of times to see the bands. Sounds really nice now, I'm sure you'll have a great time with your niece wine

oh sorry, not sure why I had niece in my head. dunno doh Yes avoiding the traffic is good, it would be terrible. Went a into the city a few times when the kids were little, never again and in that heat would be insane. You have a good plan wine
