So the US has invaded part of Pakistan and wants to topple Iran. But since China is now a part of that project, the US cannot do too much without jeopardizing its fragile economy which is entirely supported by China.
The only possible hope for the US to prevent the Iran-Pakistan-India-China pipeline is to topple Iran and/or Pakistan.
