The SCUM will sit back and not open up, they don't need the win and are playing away from home, Citeh will do their best to break them down and The SCUM will try catch them on the counter all game, if Citeh score first then it's gonna be a cracker!!

it wont be nil all even if united do sit back they dont have the players at the back to keep city out 3-2 united itll be 2-2 all then united will win it in fergie time
Well done to city. Much better team! United tru league away but in my book city better team overall. On the topic of team I think ferguson got his selection wrong!

I was surprised to see Valencia on the bench and Park playing. He wasn't up to it. There were a lot of good players on the pitch but Toure was head and shoulders better than anything out there. Well done City. League is not won yet though.

League is over Vincent lol valencia Uniteds best player this season and he's on bench. No one can explain that
salanky: they are only ahead on goal diff arent they?
Yeah they are. On paper City's 2 remaining games are harder than Utd's. They are away to Newcastle this weekend. I hope they do win it but it's not over yet.

He picked Park because he's a big game player and Nani because he's given Cliche the run around on numerous occasions!! Purple Nose should have changed it to 4-4-2 after the break and went for it straight away but they sat back again and never got on the ball, it's been 3 years since The SCUM played a game and hadn't had a shot on target.
City played like champions tonight, but it's nowhere near over yet!!

I'll keep it short and sweet. Regardless of formation Valencia should of started and 2) the league is done and dusted mark my words :)

I think his team was spot on, if they were going to catch them on the counter attack then Nani was the man to play, Park did alright, Valencia did NOTHING when he came on!! Newcastle are pushing for Champions League and aren't bad at home, plus they have a big point to prove after getting hammered 4 zip by Wigan!!
mcattack: There wasn't one SCUM player that stood out in that game so singling out Park is a bit harsh, they never had the ball and Rooney having no support is the way i called it earlier..the SCUM sat back and tried to pack the midfield, in a way it worked because they only conceded from a corner..
I criticised park simply because I see him been picked loads and he is just not good enough! I agree with u in united sitting back. At times it was like Chelsea v Barcelona. In my viewat end of day citys best 11 v Uniteds best 11 is no comparison
vinny1967: Macca's right. They did pack the midfield but it didn't work for them. Still don't unfderstand Park as he has not started in 3 months. I thought it was strange and he was obviously off the pace. Regardless City were the better team and fully deserved their victory. Utd created nothing.
But City only had chances after they scored because The SCUM had to chase the game and open up, i really don't think they would have broke them down if they didn't score from a corner..

when I saw team selection I taut nani and park would get forward to support rooney with the other 3 sitting. It never materialised. Really with park it's a blantent 4 -5-1. Macca is rite they did pack midfield but I felt sorry for Rooney. U have to support ur lone striker in some way. No shot on target in 90 plus mins sums it up

Yeah I though their plan backfired alright. They wanted to pack the midfield but they were too narrow. It gave Clichy and Zabaletta too much room cause they were all in the middle. I didn't think Rooney had a good game either but as you say there was little support. If it had of worked of course people would be calling him a genius

Their job all night was to not let City break them down, and until they conceded from a corner, they never did break them down, there wasn't really any chances till after the goal was scored, he should have switched it to 4-4-2 much earlier, that would have forced Mancini to bring on Richards and DeJong much earlier and they could have attacked for the whole second half..but hey i'm only a spectator and giving my opinion..

Ye I agree but still in compacting the midfield, when they did get forward the support for rooney was shocking. Park is not a goo forward player anyway so playing him on the flank he would never give support! In another way macca in my book city were unlucky. Coulda won the game 3 0. On another day they would have. Miles the better team and probably worthy champions
