Everton have thrown a cat among the pigeons today wow

The race for 3/4th is getting tighter with Newcastle the only winners this weekend.

Will post all the remaining fixtures shortly for a little competition between now and the end of the season for top spot, Ch League qualification and relegation.

I reckon the pubs will be full for the Manchester Derby on monday week giggle

Well well what a game we may have in store next Monday night. To think I was thinking of giving my ticket away a couple of weeks ago as I wouldn't really have the stomach to watch the blues applauding the neighbours as champions laugh .

Game on !!!

To be honest they both will only have themselves to blame if the other team win the League. I know a draw will do Utd against City but City are at home.
I wonder how that bookie who has paid out is feeling laugh

City would still love to be Uniteds position. 3 points clear with 3 games left.

Everyone persumes City will beat Newcastle away if the beat United next Monday. Citys away record is not great over the last few weeks and Newcastle are playing great. They want that Champions league position. It will be anexciting and close season but I think United will see it out. A draw away in the Council House and thats it done I reckon.

But thats jmo, so who knows.

Thats true. Newcastle are playing very well this season and will be well up for the City game. Ben Arfa and Cisse are in particularly good form at the moment. Having said that, I don't think United should go into the City game looking for just a draw. They will want to avenge the hammering at OT earlier in the season and I think if United fail to take all three points at Eastlands next Monday then it still won't be easy. Swansea at OT and Sunderland away will be tough games. All credit to Everton to Sunday, they never stopped fighting but United should have killed the game off at 3-1.

I heard he is in talks but has he actually been appointed?

As for tomorrow night, I agree with Macca. I think it has draw written all over it.

Just read this.

The Football Association have confirmed they are in talks with West Brom boss Roy Hodgson about becoming the next England manager.

West Brom have given the FA permission to talk to their manager admit rampant speculation that Hodgson could be announced as the new national boss as early as this week.

FA Chairman David Bernstein said in a statement;

“Roy is the only manager we have approached and we remain on course to make an appointment within the timescale we set out.

“Further conversations will now take place with Roy.”

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp had long been thought of as the favourite for the national team vacancy after Fabio Capello resigned in February over controversial comments made about the John Terry and Anton Ferdinand race row. Capello went public to the Italian media that he thought the FA had made the wrong decision about stripping the Chelsea defender of the captaincy, comments that eventually made his position untenable and he swiftly resigned.

Redknapp made it known he refused to talk to the FA until after the end of the season as he attempted to guide Tottenham Hotspur make into the Champions League. The delay over talking to the FA have forced their hand to look at alternative candidates.

Maybe they are trying to force Redknap's hand ? The delay is stupid considering a major tournament is to take place shortly and a squad has to be announced in the next two three weeks. I actually think he is a good manager and would do a good job.

And I can understand a draw being written all over it if it suits both teams. City will be up for this one and a draw will not suit them. I expect serious fireworks.

I thought it was crazy delaying the decision in the first place but they have delayed it this long, whats another few weeks? Roy did a good job at Fulham and West Brom but I thought Redknapp was the obvious choice. Yet again the FA have proven without a shadow of a doubt that they have no clue what they are doing.
