I see Manchester City have apologised to Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after striker Carlos Tevez held up a banner goading his former manager. Tevez has also expressed his regret after he was pictured with a sign which read 'RIP Fergie' during City's celebratory title-winning parade in Manchester.

Personally I think Carlos Tevez has some neck holding a RIP Fergie sign up!

Oh wait... doh

You are all mad to think Henry and the owners won't get rid of Kenny if they don't think he's the right man for the job..they're a ruthless bunch and are destined for success, winning a trophy in your first season isn't easy and just shows that there is potential there, just need consistency and that will come with time..everyone is waiting for a miracle, i said it already that it'll be 2 or 3 seasons before they're competing for Champions League....i also said City will win the league before a ball was even kicked grin

To be fair Carlos Tevez wouldn't be the sharpest knife in the drawer and the poster was handed to him by a fan.laugh

Didnt Fergie say two seasons ago when asked would City finish ahead of Utd "Not in my lifetime"....????

On the other hand......Manchester United fans, try going an entire season without mocking the dead at Hillsborough and then get back to me with your mock outrage at Tevez laugh

Maybe he did. Fair play to City. They deserved the title as I believe whoever is on top after 38 games deserves their trophy.

But as United fans we have seen it all before. In 1995 Blackburn were awash with money and they were going to take our crown. United done the double in 1996.

Then it was Wenger and Arsenal were so good and the football they played during the 2008 season United were finished. Arsenal were the new kings. United done the treble in 1999.

The Chelsea came along in 2005 and 2006. They were awash with money and bought like City are now. They won the league twice and I heard how they were going to take United Crown....Bla bla bla. United won the league and Champion league in 2008!

Now its City. Forgive but I have seen it all before. City will be a bigger threat from now on but one league title does not mean you have taken anyones crown. Just ask Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea!

They may well do. But just like Chelsea the owners will get a pain in their hole pumping hundreds of millions in every year. The huge money will stop and they will be like other top clubs. They certainly wont be taking United crown. United will win the league more times than City in the next 10 years.

City will find their level, just like Chelsea have.

Well I have never done that and never would. Some things you just don't joke about and disrespecting the dead is one of them. You are always going to get the odd idiot that does that though. Even Man City fans and Liverpools fans have been known to mocking the Munich disaster.

Well if he does go, at least Stewart Downing will have got one assist this season laugh
