I find that CS is a great place to meet friend's from throughout the world. However, I wouldn't bet the bank on finding "true love" here although stranger things have happened.
If you're seeking true love the fastest way to find it is to get on a dating site that is geared towards a hell of alot more members than this site currently offers and actually begin going out on dates with those you meet within your own vicinity. In this way you'll have more opportunity of meeting those directly in your area and thus fill up your date book.
Like stated previously, this type of site that's relatively slow paced and with little traffic, is more geared towards meeting friends than meeting your soul mate, whether that be the founder's intention or not.
But it's possible that if you are open to it that you'll find true love anywhere. True love has always seemed to find me but I had to make myself available and open to it. Putting yourself out there on the appropriate sites will definitely enhance your chances.
Best of luck to you and make sure to meet as many friend's as possible during your search. It adds a little fun and joy to the process.

I think there a many reasons it is harder to find love online. People with certain personalities will use online, not everyone, so many potential mates are not here. I've also noticed that the requirements for a mate has been upped a few levels, plus we judge people more by their looks than in our normal day to day lives…that’s because we get to know them in our daily interactions which makes a not so good looking person attractive. Of course there are the misrepresented people too.

I believe it's the way society is now heaps of people turn to the virtual world looking for love. Seems on these dating sites there is so many people men -women to chose from "It" a Bit like kids opening heaps of Xmas presents" & are besides themselves with glee!! smorgas board . All it seems to be doing is making people look for the perfect being( that doesn't exist) so they tend to ignore the everyday guy - chick on line.
I think we are all guilty of it & think we are a selfish society these days. A very confused one too

Everyone is "worthy" of love. But the particular special type of love that most humans are looking for is elusive, and requires lots of work when found. So just cos you don´t find it in six months, doesn´t mean it isn´t there.
How can it be a waste of time getting to know someone, even if it does not progress to a partnership.
Users and time wasters abound in life.......just keep your wits sharpened.

I guess you got to be willing to give some to get some .... Then you have to ask yourself if you will be "worthy" of their love for you ? If and when you find L-O-V-E will you cherish it or look for something better ...

So true, there are a lot of variables. This being an international site I think distance is a deciding factor between a friendship and finding love. JMO
